The Complete BabySkip Guide: Everything You Need to Know Before Ordering a Skip Bag

Author(s): Jessica Mendoza, 28/07/2026

Whether you're clearing out your home, tackling a garden makeover, renovating a room or simply having a long-overdue declutter, getting rid of waste shouldn't be the hardest part of the job.

BabySkip offers a simple, flexible alternative to traditional skip hire. Instead of having a large metal skip delivered to your home for a limited time, you simply buy a BabySkip bag, fill it at your own pace and book a collection whenever you're ready.

Whether your project takes a weekend or several months, BabySkip gives you complete flexibility.

In this guide, we'll cover everything you need to know before buying a BabySkip, including where to buy one, which size is right for your project, what you can and can't put inside, how collections work and why more homeowners are choosing skip bags over traditional skips.

What is a BabySkip?

A BabySkip is a heavy-duty woven skip bag designed to make waste disposal simple.

Unlike a traditional skip, it arrives folded, making it easy to transport home and store away until you need it. Once you're ready to begin your project, simply unfold the bag, place it in a suitable location and start filling it.

When the bag is full, you simply book a collection and we'll do the rest.

One of the biggest advantages of BabySkip is flexibility. There are no strict hire periods or pressure to finish your project before a skip needs to be removed. You can fill your BabySkip over several days, weeks or even months before arranging collection.

BabySkip is ideal for:

  • Garden clear-outs
  • DIY projects
  • Home renovations
  • House moves
  • Shed and garage clearances
  • Landscaping projects
  • General household waste
  • Seasonal decluttering & more!

Whether you're disposing of heavy materials like soil and rubble or bulky household furniture, there's a BabySkip to suit your project.

How Does BabySkip Work?

Using a BabySkip couldn't be easier.

Step 1 – Buy Your BabySkip

There's no need to rush - you can fill it whenever it suits you.

Step 3 – Book Your Collection

Once your BabySkip is full, simply book your collection online or by phone.
